War! Of the Political Kind!

Elections, elections, elections.... They are pretty much the hottest thing right now. Well, if you're like me and just a big ol' nationalist political guy. Ha ha. But really, it is important to know what's going on in your country. Stay up to date people! Don't be ignorant! That's what kills the balance! Kills the Utopia!

You know, I don't know if I really have a set party for myself since I just pick who is best for the country and all that... In a way that's probably better! But anywho, let us get to the candidates! We'll focus on the current leaders! In the left corner for the Democrats we have...... Hillllllary Clllllllllinton!!!! Hillary is at the top with 40% right now. But she just dropped 5% today... Could it have something to do with the tax increase she suggested? Hmmm... It's a mystery!! She better watch her back for the Obama-Oprah tag team!!!!

In the right corner for the Republicans we have Ruuuuuudy
Giuuuuuulianiiiiiii!!!! He is in the lead by 2% over Mike Huckabee. But Huckabee has jumped 12%! This should be interesting! As far as Giuliani goes though, I think he wouldn't be bad. He did wonders in NYC during 9-11. He's got some mad leadership skills....

This should interesting to watch unfold. I merely hope in the end, the best candidate is elected. The nation is in a bit of a hole when it comes to the economy...

Truth! Unearthed! Literally!

Don't you just love when a new truth is discovered?? Surely you have heard of the mummified dinosaur that was recently found? They unearthed a duckbilled hadrosaur that had skin, muscles, ligaments, and internal oragans still intact! Well, of course they were stone, but they were distinguishable.

Now, this discovery completely changed what we thought this dinosaur looked like! They found out that it's scales were striped. Also revealed was that its musculature actually rivaled the T-Rex! The scientists say that it actually may have been able to outrun it! They also revealed that it actually walked with its arms low to the ground.

Now, I know that archeology isn't exactly my field of interest, but isn't it just fascinating when something comes along and just changes the knowledge we thought was certain? It's pretty much rockin'.

Internal battles! Egad!

Stem cell research has become quite the hot topic these days, eh? I have done some research myself just so I can see what all the talk is about. I've learned that there are two different types of stem cells that are used in research and various treatments: stem cells derived from embryos, and stem cells derived from living people. Now, the stem cells collected from the embryos are more useful because they can adapt to become whatever cell is needed, unlike the adult stem cells which can only be the type of cell from the area harvested. Although the embryonic cells are more useful, they do have a bad side. Taking the cells from the embryo results in its destruction.

The purpose of all this backdrop is so you, my devoted blog reader, can understand why I feel such confusion when it comes to this topic! I am a hardcore Christian, and I am not afraid to admit it. But, my church is quite against the use of stem cells. I can't help but feel kind of torn between my religious beliefs and my philosophic ones. I know that these stem cells have so much potential for the betterment of mankind. I cannot just turn a blind eye on this fact! I just imagine this knowledge advancing more and more over the years to come. Should the advancement of medicine be hindered just because of religion's views on it? Now, I know it's wrong, but like previously stated, I am torn.
